“Parts of the Body”


        I.            Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
·         Identify the different parts of the human body.
·         Appreciate the value of the different parts of the human body.
·         Give the functions of each body parts.

      II.            Activity/Discussion
·         Prayer

Motivation:

-          Singing and Dancing to “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”
FUQ: What is the song all about?

Mix and Match
·         Show a picture of a child and strips of paper containing the names of the body parts. Have the pupils point out and match the strip of paper to the body part in the picture of the boy.
FUQ: What have you noticed on the picture?

Presentation of the Lesson:
·         Discuss the different parts of the human body.

ΓΌ  Have the pupils work in pairs in examining their body parts like hair, ears, fingers, hands, hips, knees, feet, and chest. Make them note down the characteristics of these body parts. They may use the example table below.
